Carrier Oils & Butters

This popular and exciting class among aromatherapists, massage therapists, skin care professionals and those who care about their healthy skin is a wonderful foray into making body butters. The skin nourishing properties of natural vegetable oils and butters are revealed as these are considered the carrier oils used in aromatherapy.

An Exploration of texture, scent, consistency and therapeutic properties for blending techniques are found with familiar carrier oils/butters like Jojoba, Tamanu, Avocado and other exotic carriers like Murumuru and Cupuacu Butter… to create a variety of organic, nourishing body care products.

Hands-on activities will be our focus in creating skin moisturizing butters, salves or massage blends for dry skin, scars, inflammation, wrinkles, and more… as well as an introduction to the art of blending some products with essential oils. The best part is taking these products home to enjoy.

Prerequisites: No previous experience is required. The class is for beginners and for those seeking to improve their body butters blending techniques.

Tuition: $150. Includes all materials/supplies for the class, manual and refreshments
