I have been hearing lots of chatter about the Aromatherapy Certification Program (ACP) at our school. So, now is the time to talk about the details of this dynamic set of training classes.
Did you know that there is a total of 235 hours of intensive education that goes into a full aromatherapist training program? 159 hours is In-Person in our classroom and 76 hours is online…. which entails the A&P (Anatomy & Physiology) portion of the required curriculum. This part you do on your own and can be started as soon as payment is received of at least the deposit, and is yours always to refer back to.
The 159 hours of In-Person instruction takes place over 15 days, spread out over a 3 to 4.5-month period. Each day is from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM. This classroom time is where we get to know firsthand the components of essential oils, look at their chemical families, physically smell and experience them plus hand-craft EO product blends for many types of therapeutic qualities.
There is a plethora of specific questions to address in this discussion, starting with:
– What is a chemical family and why would it be relevant in studying essential oils?
– How many essential oils are there available in the world?
– What does CT stand for?
– What am I able to do once I am a Certified Aromatherapist?
The list keeps going and growing!
Now I would like to know … what are your questions? Share them here, send an email or bring them to class with you. Whatever you are wondering about the ACP there is good chance others are wondering the same.
The next ACP starts in January of 2018.
